Have you ever been in love?
That is true that most people can not imagine their lives without love. Love is human. And no matter that we happen to suffer from love now and then we start looking for love again and again. However many mistakes we made, however many times we got disappointed in love and swore to ourselves not to fall in love any more, we still want to find love again. A new day comes and brings us new hopes and new dreams. Cheerfulness and optimism relieve fears and we meet new people and start new life, a light, exciting and eventful life.
Everybody wants to be loved. It is utterly difficult to find a lot of people who have no need of love and dating at all. Isn't it right that more or less each of us has ever experienced a wonderful feeling of being in love with somebody? But can it be true that all people understand thee word "love" equally or maybe each person means something special by this word?
Some people equate love with other feelings, such as affection or sexual desire. If you try to ask yourself honestly what you really feel towards your partner, you are likely to get a contradictory answer. It is difficult to distinguish love from other things. There is a thin dividing line between love and desire, love and a simple need for care, appreciation etc.
So, what does it mean "love"?
When can we be sure that we love and when that we are loved? Maybe we should distinguish love and respect, love and habit of being together?
Or maybe on the contrary, love just consists of excitement, respect, approval, desires, jealousy, care and many other different feelings which make people get together and be happy with it.
We read numerous sweet stories and watched fetching movies full of love and tenderness. But can we understand what love means without having experienced it in our real life?
