Switch on the light
There is a nice dating tradition in one of the restaurant that was inherited by the Americans from the French. The first meeting of this type was organized several years ago and a famous cook George Bernard is was in charge of it. He used to treat his guests to very delicious dishes. After a while one of New York marriage agencies decided to have something similar to it and they invited another very famous cook to the restaurant Suba that is on the bank of the river.
Lonely Americans who wanted to use such kind of dating service, come to the party and find their soul mate had to pay $90. So they come to a restaurant and right at the entrance they have an opportunity to meet other gentlemen who are interested in meeting someone special and who are not fond of trivial meetings.
After a special briefing the guests are informed about the dating rules: that there will be no lights in the restaurant and the special staff will take the potential fiancés and fiancées into the hall and show them to their tables.
It is also the responsibility of the waiters to take care of the guests so that they could not hurt each other or themselves, break glasses or eat from the neighbor's plate in this complete darkness.
Some of the guests afford to take liberties and through bread and other products into the people sitting next to them. Very often there are cases when gentlemen spilt wine or lit cigarettes to see the ethereal creatures sitting nest to them (or maybe they just want to see what is there on their plate).
By the end of the dinner the lights are switched on and you have an opportunity to see who is sitting next to you. No one can guarantee that this person will resemble Kim Bessinger or Bruce Willice. This happens only in fairy tales and in movies.
