Love stories in fifth grade
I did not think above the fact that the abstract concept of folklore work can acquire in the experience of 5th grade child in completely specific outlines. Even in the elementary school, being the students of the third class, the authors of these records walked with the notebooks by the region adjacent to the school and they wrote from the words of the passer-by of riddle. Their clever person teacher accurately understood the sources of folklore in our life. And actually, if folklore works are originated in the bosom of oral people creation, then why children must read them from the pages of school textbooks? And here third graders walk along the street who on two, who on three ask in the passer-by, such as those know riddles and what in these riddles responses. Teacher did tell me, as children they were astonished, after learning about five versions of response to the most popular riddle of "Without windows, without the doors" and "the room full of people" - cucumber, watermelon, pumpkin, melon, summer squash.
And generally the fact that in riddle there can be several versions of correct answer, for some children proved to be revelation. And here, when in the fifth class it did arrive to time read ballads about the robin buzz, 4 for the beginning did read by them several ballads of the collection "Russian folklore school" (Moscow, 1998). Students thus were absorbed in, that literally they required reading still and still. So I read Love stories. As a result the lesson came to the fact that we turned off the light in the class and listened to the love stories, which the children told in accordance with the strictly established/installed by them priority. Home 5th grade child left the task to write down at least one of the histories, heard on the lesson or afterward, on the change.
Then these histories were published in the school periodical "Talk" the print run of 100 copies(!). It is natural that the texts were slightly edited (they were removed some alliterations, they were arranged commas and indentations). The authors with the correcting did agree also for the publication in by the first of September they unanimously selected precisely this version.
