What should an ideal Russian wife look like?
How do men expect ideal women to be? What kind of appearance should a woman have to be considered to be the perfect wife? It is thought that a woman should be thin and tall. Russian girls dream of being not just noticed but also adored by men! So, they start keeping to numerous diet, go in for sports and so on. In such a way women hope to conquer men's attention and admiration. In other words, very often women believe that if they will look in the way they like themselves then a lot of men will pay attention to them at once.
But what do men themselves think about the ideal of a woman? What kind of woman do they really need? And is there any ideal of a woman at all? An ideal that will meet all men's demands, ideas and wishes.
Hoping to find an answer to this question we asked 132 men both from Russia and from other countries. As a result we have got the following facts.
The most astonishing thing is that answering the question "What kind of women do you prefer? Do you like thin or thick ones?" 50 per cent answered that they like thin ones. But another 50 per cent confessed that they are fond of thick women. Can men really think this way?
The second question we asked was "What is the main thing you pay attention at first meeting to?" In other words "Is it the appearances or the words that really matters?" And we were disappointed to hear not less that 76 per cent Russian men answering that, undoubtedly, at the first meeting the appearances play for them the most important role. For this or that reason, men forget the proverb "Appearances are deceptive" now and then, especially, as far as they notice glamorous Russian girls.
